minor characters

I'm not sure if the mediator counts as a major or minor character, I think she plays a fairly large role, but not the largest. I think it is interesting that she seems in someways not to care much about Finch. Yes she allows her to talk to the dead, but that's about all. Her main concern is for the dead. I think this is particularly fascinating, because Finch had a mediator as a friend when she was young. It seems that Finch almost expects this mediator to be the same friend that the other was, but it isn't the case.

1. I never have been an good story teller; I tend to have trouble getting to the point. I know that I have written better stories than this, but I'm a little rusty on my writing skills right now.

2. I think my beginning and ending are both good, however the middle seems to get a little bit boring.

3. I could somehow add more dynamics to the middle of the story to make it a little bit less dry.

4. I made a list of ideas, but ended up using the first one

5. Since it was a story from my life, chronological order made the most sense.

6. I didn't use any graphics, but I think a picture of a young child writing could have been good.

7. The responses were very helpful. I agreed with most of the comments, and made changes accordingly

8. I would try to spend more time proof reading my first draft so that the responses I got would have been even more helpful.

I guess this is the blog i'll be using now

the people most important to me in life would have to be my friends, and then my family. I know that my group of girls will never fall apart because we have been through everything together. Even as we become more and more different we grow closer together. Many of my family are my friends, and however backwards it may be I don't have the level of trust in my family members that I do in my core group of friends. They all mean the world to me though, and I know that I would put myself out there for all of them.
